The Board of Directors of For Our Youth is committed to empowering the next generation through comprehensive programs in violence prevention, Information Technology, and financial literacy. With a clear understanding of the challenges young people face, our board leads initiatives that provide life-shaping skills, guidance, and support to help them build resilience and long-term success.
Because music is a vital part of youth culture and an influential force across society, we place a strong emphasis on expanding pathways in the arts. We aim to raise up powerful, responsible, and creative voices—artists, musicians, spoken word performers, and more—by giving them access to training, mentorship, performance opportunities, and community-centered experiences.
We are also addressing the increasing reality of youth homelessness by working to establish group homes that offer safe, stable, and nurturing environments. Alongside this, we continue building pathways in entrepreneurship, I.T., and a wide range of programs designed to equip young people to lead, excel, and positively impact their communities.
Our Story
Our directors bring diverse expertise in education, technology, finance, the arts and social services, ensuring holistic and impactful solutions. They are dedicated to creating pathways out of poverty, violence, and instability for our young people. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, the board drives our mission to uplift and equip youth for a brighter future. Together, we are committed to transforming lives and strengthening communities. We believe the children are our future. What better way to give back than to partner with agencies and other 501c3's to get them off the street and to begin the rehabilitation process so that they become productive and healthy members of society. Currently members of our board are comprised on an array of professionals. We are excited about one of our new initiatives in the Arts, as such we will be rolling out a music program.
